On Nov 26th he did his first crawl...he takes about 2 steps with his arms and drags his legs, then falls and just lays there and gets frusterated...no doubt about it though that he is almost there. He's constantly up on all fours and rocking back and forth, he's also learned how to sit himself up from his belly. You can imagine my face when I went into his bedroom one morning and he was sitting up in his crib playing with his toys, he just looked and me and smiled, I totally freaked out. He's scooting and moving all over the place and actually pulled himself up the other day on the laundry basket.
He's starting to learn to communicate...I can now ask him for a toy, or whatever he is holding and he will give it to me...and he'll look twice when you say no, but then try it again, we are working on that one..
We are giving him more and more table food, he seems to do well with it. We started him on yogurt a few weeks ago and he absolutely loves it. Cherrios and Puffs are his other faves. We also learned Kyle is allergic to Penicillin...he had a sinus infection and they gave us the penicillin only to then get the hives and a rash.
He is very into books as well now. He loves when we read to him and actually can stay focused for about 3 books in a row...his faves are Winnie the Pooh and the busy bees, Goodnight Moon and all the touch and feel books, he goes right to the touchy parts on the page now, it's so amazing to watch a little mind progress like that.
Here are some fun pics from the last few weeks.
